Yes, prior to being seen by the medical team, an insured patient must pay the co-pay required by their insurance carrier and a self-pay, or non-insured patient, is required to pay the cost of an office visit. After the evaluation, any incremental fees will be collected from both insured and non-insured patients upon checkout.
If your Nason Medical Center doctor determines you have an issue for which you must be hospitalized, Nason staff will make the necessary calls to admit you immediately and arrange for transportation to the hospital. All medical records and information necessary for treatment will be sent immediately so the hospital physicians and staff are able to continue your care efficiently.
Our staffing, treatment process and facilities are specifically designed to minimize waiting. So It is unusual to wait more than 12 minutes.
A non-insured patient is offered the option to self-pay. If a non-insured patient cannot pay the office visit charge before being seen by the medical team, Nason Medical Center will discuss alternative options with the patient.
