Frequently Asked Questions

One which provides the same technologies and qualified caregivers you find at a hospital except we see you sooner and don't take ambulances.

Nason is the Urgent and Emergency Care Center of the future. Ours is different in several important ways.
First, all of our doctors are Board-Certified Physicians who specialize in emergency medicine. The second
major difference is the sophisticated imaging and laboratory equipment we have at Nason Medical Centers.
Every one has a CT Scanner, Ultrasound and X-rays as well as state-of-the-art laboratory and diagnostic tools.
Using these tools, our physicians can provide a quick and accurate diagnosis at a fraction the price you’d pay
at a hospital emergency room.

An insured patient is required to pay the normal co-pay required by their insurance carrier and a self-pay patient is required to pay the cost of an office visit.

If your Nason Medical Center doctor determines you have an issue for which you must be hospitalized, Nason staff will make the necessary calls to admit you immediately and arrange for transportation to the hospital. All medical records and information necessary for treatment will be sent immediately so the hospital physicians and staff are able to continue your care efficiently.

Our staffing, treatment process and facilities are specifically designed to minimize waiting. So It is unusual to wait more than 12 minutes.

A patient is offered the option to self-pay.

It’s our goal to make your visit to Nason Medical Centers as pleasant as possible. Our spacious waiting areas have comfortable seating and all family members are offered fresh popcorn and soft drinks, water or hot beverages. Even the magazines are up-to-date.

Our staff will be happy to answer all your questions regarding treatment. You may speak with them during your visit, or call us before or after it.

Our phone number is 843-300-3500.

Our staff at Nason wants to ensure a positive experience while you visit us.

The following will help us help you or your loved one:

  • Bring your insurance card and photo I.D.with you.
  • If you are aware of any allergies or think that you may be pregnant, inform your physician immediately.
